Doug DeVore has his life tragically changed on Thanksgiving day. He is left working two jobs and taking care of five children. He turns to Mickey Valdez for a break from the grief. The Sunday adventures make Doug laugh and for a short time forget his grief. The book takes you through very different emotions and makes you feel sad then happy then back to sad again. I enjoyed the book very much.
