I thought the book was okay. A bunch of parts where boring. I liked mainly the training and action and her testing. There was alot of romance in the book. If I was recommend this book to anyone it would be to read it. Even though it wasn't the best it was still a good book. It was one of toughs book that want you to read the next one.

4 out of 5
Ready Player One was a great book. It started with a boys life who was really boring and it took place in 2024. After the creater of the OASIS ( a virtual reality gaming tool ) was dead he released a Easter egg to the game. Once you found all 3 keys in hidden places around the OASIS; you where rewarded with amounts of OASIS money anyone could ever imagine. You also could control the game and basically have anything you wanted to. Wade which went by the name Perzival in the OASIS. Figured out that the first key, the bronze. Was in the planet Ludius. Which was a planet for school and learning. Once he figured out the riddle that was the first thing he did was go to the cave. Wade had a map of the game created by Hailday, the creater of the game. So wade new where every monster and trap was in the cave. He then challenged a giant lich to a game. He lost 2 and then one with a total of 3 to 2. He was rewarded with the bronze key. On his way out he met a person name Art3mis in the OASIS. Which became competitors. The secound key was hidden inside of a gate. The third was found in the nearest part of the hill. The gate was opened by 3 keys being entered into the gate. Then they had to battle Haliday at another game. He was rewarded with what was promised.

I thought this was a good book. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because some parts did get a little boring. I would definitely read the next book. I thought the story went well with how to ending was. The ending was one of show more thoughs endings that want you to read the next book. The book was mainly a sort of Trivia with a mix of Action. 4 Stars; and I recommend the book. show less

The book was good in my opinion I think any one could enjoy it. It was never boring the begging to end was good. When I saw their was a prequel I knew all the other books where good so I picked it up. I didn't read it the first time because I figured out it wasn't the same people. Then Read it again and it was a good book. I thought everything was wrote well. I never knew what was going to happen; so it wasn't a predictable book. The whole book was great. The only thing was i thought it was going to be more about Thomas but it was mainly how WICKED was formed.

This book is about a kid named Michel that got put into another persons body (also know as a tangent) and they are people that Kaine killed in the book. The other person he got put into was Jackson. When Michel wakes up he knows he needs to find his friends. In the first book they only died in the virt-net ( a gaming device that puts you in the game). So he knew they where still alive. When he finds Sarah ( one of his friends ) she doesn't believe that it is him and needs proof so he tell her all the stuff he knew about her. Twords the end of the book he figured out that kaine. The person he thought was a hacker was a Tangent just like him. He also ins't really a hacker either. That he was just working for the The Mortality Doctrine which is a group of people that had switched minds. They needed to find the program of Kaine. They get transfer to a village where a earthquake erupts and they all fall in different places. They don't notice that they are in the reality and they go to where Kaine is programmed. The police come and get Michel and put them in jail where he didn't know where his friends where.
I thought this book was okay. It definitely wasn't as good as the first one because i was more into the first one. The story in this one was still good. The main character is Thomas. Thomas is special outside of the glade. The glade is in the middle of a giant maze that they think is unsolvable. When Thomas wakes up all he remember is his name nothing from his old life just his name. In the glade there is a bunch of jobs so they can survive in the glade. For example a farmer, animal hunting, cooking and there is one job that Thomas really pays attention to. Thomas sees the walls open and is curious why one of the rules is not to leave the glade. So he walks up to the wall to take a closer look. There is a whole bunch of different paths and as he looks he sees people come back. Thomas then asks the leader of them Alby ( he was the first one there so he had to survive a whole month before some one came) why there was some one in the maze. He told him that they where runners. Then he said he wanted to be one. He told him that no one wanted to be a runner. Later in the book he sees min-ho and alby trying to get back a min-ho is dragging ably. Thomas watching in horror as the doors shut. He thinks to himself there not going to make it; so he runs out in the maze and brakes the rules. He survives the night also killing a griever by standing by a cliff and the griever ( creatures in the maze ) flew off. Then later the doors don't shut at night. A bunch of grievers destroy the glade. Thomas and Min-ho decide that the way they think there going to leave might work. So it did and the left the maze.
My opinion on the book is that show more this book is really good. I started reading it because the title looked cool and my sister had it so I picked it up. The begging wasn't bad nor was the middle or end. I was always in the book and never bored. The book was so good that I had to read the second one. There was a good ending too. I think the characters in the story are smart and cool. I thought how they made it so you never knew how it was going to end. Also how you did not know what was going to happen next. If i was rec-emending this to some one i would say you should read it if your into adventure and really descriptive story's. ( AND AMAZING BOOKS) show less
In this book the main character is Michel.Michel is a boy that spends most of his time in this place called the virt-net.The Virt-net is like this place that everything is realistic; you could have these things that make it so you actually feel stuff when your in there. In the virt-net there is this hacker called Kaine and he is making it so no one could leave. He was also making it so if you died in the virt-net you died in really life.Michel gets know by this agent organasation or something and is told to find Kaine and to stop him. So Michel has to best friends Bryson and Sarah. Michel took them with him cause they wanted to help. They had to go through all these puzzels and through all these people trying to stop them. when they where almost to the half way point Bryson was torn apart from these weird zombie creature thing that when you looked at them they didnt move but when you looked away then went after you. Right when they where almost there. Sarah was trying to make it across a lava pit which she got stuck on a stone and then the stone burnt out so she burnt to death. There Michel wanted to kill himself so he would just go back but then sarah made him promiss to finish this. Later on he reached a point where when he died it was all over he died in real life. Michel was almost there but then died when he got there. He wasnt expecting to wake up but he did and when he woke up he was somewhere else not at his home he walked around and then later on came to a mirror show more and he figured out this whole time he was a tagent. (or someone who wasnt a real person there he figured out he wasnt him and he took over someones life)
