This is a touching story of family tensions and religious traditions and the difficulties embroiled when they collide. This is a nice change of pace from Azrieli who has written many novels more of the thriller/espionage genre, but it is told in the same delightfully descriptive and emotionally touching manner. It doesn't have to be holiday time for you to enjoy Christmas for Joshua!

I've read several of Avraham Azrieli's other novels and The Mormon Candidate continues his winning streak of creating great mystery and suspenseful stories. Once again, the descriptive and fast paced type of story telling propels you to not put the book down as it winds us through a murder investigation. Full of secrets, intrigue, and conspiracy theories, The Mormon Candidate is definitely a great book to pick up.

This novel is a riveting thriller! With political, historical, and action elements it kept me on the edge of my seat. Avraham Azrieli’s style of writing is a delight to read as he paints an intricate picture of his plot and creates multifaceted characters with complex motivations that leave you guessing. The Masada Complex is definitely worth a read!
