My Sister's Keeper is a thought provoking novel. It deals with the relationships between the members of a family struggling to survive the hardships of a child's illness. It shows us that there are ramifications for every decision made and that every story can't have a happy ending. I enjoyed the ethical and medical aspects of this book and it made me think of what choices I would make it I were in the same situation. This is my favorite Jodi Picoult book and a definite must read.

Twilight, the first book in the Twilight Saga, introduces us to the unique love story of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. This book immediately pulled me in and left me wanting more. My only complaint is that some of the passages are worded awkwardly, requiring me to reread them. I found this to be only a minor annoyance, and it did not distract me from the story. Overall, Twilight was a wonderful book that opened me up to a world just believable enough, it feels like it could really exist out there.
