I found this book hard to put down. It begins with a kidnapping and brutal scenes of torture. The heroine endures and attempts to escape. She faces death but at the last minute is rescued. Most authors would have stopped there but Niki continues. She's only 40% through the book. Now she deals with the trauma the lovers face, both racked with guilt. It seems they must part but everyone apart from them can see that they belong together.

This masterful story deals with the relationship between stubborn male and female. To resolve their conflict they must learn to forgive themselves. It has action, romance and mystery. It will appeal to both sexes.
