This book came highly recommended by someone I won't take advice from again. There are a lot of people in this book so you can probably find something that will resonate with you, but you have to sort through the rest and it isn't worth it. The best parts are some of the stories about when the author meet with the people.
Very captivating story, very insightful to the idea of culture and nurture/nature discussion. (warning: foul language throughout, mostly when he is quoting abusive family members)
I found this book helpful in giving language to management strategies and structuring many of my thoughts on management. I think it is good in general, but would recommend Multipliers or The One Thing over this.
I enjoyed the principles of this book and I think they will be very helpful. I struggled between a 3 and 4 star rating because the writing style seems kind of unorganized at times, and gets repetitive. I didn't know there is an updated version, so hopefully it is even better.
Do not waste your time with this book. It is dark and creepy and in my opinion not appropriate at all for children even though it is rated K-3rd grade.
