Powerful and intense decline of a man's life with the result of his importance being symbolized as a bug.
Light ,engaging, thoroughly entertaining suspenseful mystery regarding forged art in Victorian London. The female heroine, Lady Emily Ashton, is a young women who marries her husband to escape her mother but becomes a widow and slowly discovers everything about her husband that she didn't know and regrets she didn't make the time for him when he was alive. While she is discovering this she is learning that her husband's death was not an accident and she must learn the truth to fully understand who her husband was.
I like this book very much and it introduces you well to Harry Potter, the young orphaned wizard who is the only wizard to have lived through an attack by Lord Voldemort (the horrific dark wizard who killed his parents) . It also introduces his best friends, Hermoine, and Ron, and professor Dumbledore, but each book is better than the first. This one catches you with the new culture of the wizarding world and Harry's sweet and curious nature.
Cute, easy read but enjoyable even though it's simple. It would be a good book to take on a vacation where you want to relax and not think too much.
This book takes you back to a time of the geisha and lets you live and feel what it must have been like for them. You experience every emotion possible.
I enjoyed the mixture of fiction and history with the legend of Count Dracula. It was suspenseful and exciting to me and though it is long I read it quickly. I had a difficult time putting it down.
I'm in the middle of reading and it has gotten more interesting but it seemed to start out slow. I had to push myself to stay with it in the beginning but I'm glad I did.
I was so pleasantly surprised with this book. The author is able to keep the feel of Jane Austen's story.
Classic tale of revenge when it was still written well and not just violence.
Classics that you can keep going back to but if you want to finish you need to keep reading on - and on- still haven't gotten through all.
This story keeps you reading with anticipation. The romance is rounded out well with the journey of the soul.
This may be fluff and sugar due to all the recipes but if you like to cook and like to read then you will enjoy it.
What can you say? It's a classic tale of teen angst. Everyone can relate and it takes you back every time you read it.
This book is written beautifully but it gets bogged down by all the adjectives. It didn't always keep my interest.
