I received this book from the Library Thing Early Reviewer program, and enjoyed the read. This is a competently presented historical romance, and wraps up an on-going storyline involving the murder of a character's mother (I have not read any of the preceding books in the series).
The biggest problem I had with this book was actually the back cover copy, which asks if the heroine, Grace, is "truly the black widow that many believe?" This creates an expectation of suspicion surrounding the death of her late husband. Instead, she is introduced during a scene involving said husband's death; then, the circumstances of his death are presented to, and believed by, our hero and his colleagues. So even though this is an enjoyable story, I found myself reading it with a slight touch of disappointment that it was not the one I had imagined from reading the back cover.
