It was an interesting read. How easily hysteria can be created in a small town from just the comments of a few influential people.
Why does every new novel have to be about the defense of a personal attack against Scarpetta and her family. It was very disappointing. I so loved early novels but I'm not feeling it about the last couple of story lines.
Really liked the characters and setting in Savannah. Looking forward to more titles in the series.
The Rival Queens: Catherine de' Medici, Her Daughter Marguerite de Valois, and the Betrayal that Ignited a Kingdom by Nancy Goldstone
Fascinating read. Nancy Goldstone did an excellent job of clarifying the different characters. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Margo who was an awesome example of female strength and compassion long before women's lib was even a thought.
I loved the first book and movie. This was a disappointment to find out that Atticus had become the stereotypical southern bigot. I expected so much more from the sequel.
Not what I expected. The book was more about the writers psychological issues with her lifestyle and mothers death then about the Pacific Crest Trail.
Excellent book can't get enough of Westrus and all the characters.
It was an entertaining read. Although Brown has become very repetitive with the Langdon character and plots in his book. I did enjoy it.
An excellent enthralling story that I couldn't get enough of. Can't wait to start A Clash of Kings.
Killing Lincoln: The Shocking Assassination that Changed America Forever (Bill O'Reilly's Killing Series) by Bill O'Reilly
I love it. I have read several books on this subject and this one brings descriptions and details that I was unaware of. Historical mysteries are one of my favorite reads and this is an excellent one.
Snow-Storm in August: Washington City, Francis Scott Key, and the Forgotten Race Riot of 1835 by Jefferson Morley
Very thought provoking. I only knew Francis Scott Key as the author of the Star Spangle Banner. Very well written and an excellent read!
Fascinating to realize that one really bad day can literally change your life for the next 20 plus years.
