Daniel's Story
Daniel’s Story is about a young boy and his family trying to survive the hardship of the war. The story starts off in Frankfurt,Germany. A few weeks later the Nazi’s took control of where him and his family lived. The biggest problem about it was that he was Jewish. A few months later he was moved to a concentration camp where he met someone who was apart the resistance. Well I hope you enjoy my summary about Daniel’s story.

Tuskegee airmen
This book starts off with a story of a soldier's crew being saved by two Tuskegee Airmen. It then goes to a history of African-Americans and the oath that got them to the skies. In the Air Force during World War II they were allowed to get into it, but they were segregated from the White people. They had certain flight schools for the Black people. One of them was in the city of Tuskegee, Alabama. The people who came from this school formed the Tuskegee Airmen. These airmen went on to be very important fighters in many battles and helped the Allies win the war.
In my opinion it is a interesting book at first but it can get boring. It tells the same story of slavery and racism for what seems like way too many times because everyone should know this story by now. Some facts that I didn't know about was that they purposely made segregation a rule. Stories like the one in the beginning gave some really good insight into these airmen and what they did. But the story on story should have only been a small recap at most. Everyone knows the ending of World War II so it ends with the war ending and everyone who lived went home. In my opinion I thought the book was fine.

Another reason why i liked booked is because he has a best friend who shares the same passion as himself. Some things I didn’t like about the book was that his parents divorced, I don't know how that feels but that must be really hard. The last reason why I liked the book is he never stopped doing what he loved , he worked really hard that he made a traveling team. Well that’s why I liked Booked!

The reason Stanley went to the camp is because he was framed for stealing a pair of shoes even though he found the on the floor. A long time ago his great grandpa was cursed because he broke his promise. A few months later he was at camp green lake which is a prison in a desert. When he got there he was instructed by the officer to start working. He made a friend called Zero because he never talks. Later in the story Stanley and Zero run away but while there running Zero gets hurt, but he tells stanley to leave him because he’s going to die so stanley stays with until he dies.
I thought Holes was a good book because it talked about a kid who had the worst luck in the world. I didn’t like the book because his best and only friend Zero died. Kobe Bryant was on August 23, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. When Kobe was six years old his father played overseas. While living in Italy he adopted the sport called soccer or in other countries called Foosball. Some other things Kobe did in Italy was that he went to his father’s game and practices, and he even got his jersey signed by all the players. Kobe Bryant and his family moved back to the states in 1991 and moved back to pennsylvania. The next year Kobe won the Naismith national player of the year.
I thought the story about Kobe Bryant was really interesting because Kobe is one of the best basketball players, and I want to reach the NBA. I just think that it’s crazy for the Charlotte Hornets to trade Kobe for some other person but I’m also happy that kobe went to the Laker with shaq and win 5 NBA rings. One thing I didn’t know was that Kobe was the Naismith national player of the year in 1992. Some facts about Kobe is that he was the youngest player to win the NBA Dunk contest. Other facts about is He has been to 18 All Star Game and only missed two because he was not legible due to his Age.

50 cent also known as Butterball or by his real name Curtis Jackson III. 50 Cent was born in Jamaica, New York. When 50 cent was 8 years old his mother was shot, after that 50 cent lived with his grandparents after his father left him. When he was a young boy he wanted to become a heavyweight boxer but decided to become a rapper, as he got better Dj’s decided to put out two of his best CD’s. In 1999 one his best albums were supposed to release one of his best albums but never did Trackmaster and Columbia because they didn’t like that he got shot three days before filming. As a child 50 cent had gotten in a fight with a boy named Maurice the reason he hated him was because of how carrying and loving his family was. While in middle he met this lady named Liz who was his helper, she was there to help him with his anger-issues.
I thought the book was really good because 50 Cent is one of my favorite rapper’s. One fact I didn’t know was that his mother died when he was 8 years old and that his father left him. Dwayne Wade was born January 17th in Chicago, Illinois. When Dwayne Wade was two years old his parents separated. When he was eight years old his sister Tragil tricked him into staying with his father in the south side. This moment changed his life for the better. As a young adult he chose to attend Marquette University, but he was unable to play the first season of college basketball because of his low academic scores. The next season he brought Marquette to their first USA Conference Championship, and then to the Final Four, which they hadn’t made since 1977. Two years later, Dwayne Wade declared for the 2003-2004 NBA draft. He was selected by the Miami Heat and was picked as number five. In 2006, Dwayne Wade won his first of three rings as well as the Final MVP, which means best player in the finals. In the 2010-2011 he became a free agent but decided to stay in Miami when Lebron James and Chris Bosh joined the Heat.

When Tim Tebow was three he moved to Jacksonville,Florida with eight other siblings. Tim Tebow lived on a farm for all his youth. Tim Tebow was a star in high school, and got many scholarships. But in the end he chose to university of Florida. In 2007 Tim Tebow won Heisman in his second year. Tim Tebow was drafted in the first round by the Denver Broncos. He was nicknamed Tebow Time because of his outstanding comebacks . Tim Tebow had a successful career in football and took his talents to Major league Baseball (MLB).

In the beginning of the book the Author introduced two characters that were twins named Josh Bell and Jordan Bell. In the beginning of the story Jordan and Josh play on a varsity team which are about to win the state championship title. Later on in the story Jordan and Josh like a girl named Miss Sweet Tea, but she likes Jordan which makes a problem for josh because he is spending more time with her than him. Later that day Jordan and Josh’s dad wants to get doughnuts but her mom doesn't want him to get it because the dad has diabetes which could kill him . A week later Jordan gets mad at Jordan gets angry because josh says something to miss sweet tea which cases them not to talk to each other. Later on in the year Josh gets suspended from the team because he gets into a fight with his brother about basketball. A few days go by and Josh justs wants his brother back, but Jordan is still mad so josh gives some notes to Jordan so he can study for the test which makes him happy that he is using the notes. At the end of the story jordan and josh are at their basketball game which is at the end of the playoffs. At the end of the game their father dies from a stroke right after jordan and Josh win the state championship.
I thought the Crossover was very informative on how Jordan and Josh handled not talking to each other during the basketball season. I did not like when Josh was suspended from the basketball season which was unfair because it was show more nothing really bad. One thing I liked was when Jordan gave the notes to Jordan to study. One day two generals were talking about Andrew (also known as Ender). One general believed that he was the chosen one, but other general didn’t believe him. Later that day ender had to go to the nurse's office to take out the internal chip. After school Andrew was about to leave the school but Bernard and his gang walked up to Andrew and started punching him. Andrew fought and beat all of their butts. Finally, when he got home there was a strange man in a military uniform. Once he got settled in the general was thinking about taking Andrew to the space camp. Andrew wasn’t too keen on leaving but on the other hand Peter wasn’t there but his sister Valentine was the most important person to him. Later that day, Andrew had to decide if he wanted to go or not, he eventually decided to go to the camp. A few months later Andrew goes to the Salamander and wins the space camp tournament and was chosen to fight the enemies. After that he is traded to the Dragon army which was discontinued because of how bad it was. Later on that year The Dragons were beating some of the most talented teams in the league. At the end, Andrew and the rest of the cadets were tricked into killing an entire species.
My thoughts on the Ender’s Game was that it was a very informative book. It told the story of how Andrew (also known as Ender) had to deal with being the chosen one. I liked how Andrew dealt with being benched and unwanted. show more It was probably hard for him to deal with but he still got it done. I’m glad that he got his own team and how he brought a discontinued team to the top. Another thing that I liked was when Andrew and the Dragons used a formation that blocked one person to get to the opponent's side and win.
