A charming world and premise, but the changing POVs can get a bit confusing, and the character development is a bit lacking. Maybe in the sequel(s?) the characters will have more space to grow.The language overall is pretty nice, but I feel that it could be a bit hard to understand for a middle-grade.
In general, not a bad read, but also nothing spectacular.
