Quick little make you smile book. A few pages made me laugh out loud, and the tips they give you for being grumpy I had already mastered before this cat was born.
While the plot is in my opinion a great idea, I found the writing a little cheesy. Awkward teenage dialogue about liking someone, or why their parents make them just so gosh darn mad! It did pick up quite a bit toward the end and kept me hooked (by a thread) although it was pretty easy to see some of the twists.

-Cool Concept

-Writing a bit cheesy
While slow and somewhat repetitive for the first 60 pages this book picks up nicely after. It jumps from view point to view point as the "Monument Men" struggle to get from location to location hunting down the worlds greatest artworks by hitching rides with convoys and driving a broken down topless VW. To becoming the most sought after men at the end of the war. Great Read!
Holy cow! It's like Oceans Eleven meets the 1500's. Filled with magic and sneak thievery, it sucks you right in and doesn't let go!
Fun read! Explains how gods like the Northern gods Thor, and Odin, Loki, along with the Greek gods, Zues, Hermès, and all other gods the Earth has seen since creation ended up here. Tells the story of a boy who has been born with the one power that is a death sentence if any of the other gods find out. Plus it's Orson Scott Card so you know it's good.
This is a great short story. I really enjoy books that aren't the same old "Cookie Cutter" stories, that a lot of people who have reviewed this book wit a negitive opinion seem to want. Not all stories need to have an over the top, overcoming great perils, action packed, storyline. Auri is a broken, lost girl, who spends time placing things on their proper place. This story gives more character depth to Auri reto-activley. Thank you Rothfuss for writing a book that isn't a cookie cutter, appeal to the generic boring masses. I'd give it more stars if I could.
Great story, still trying to figure out what it's all about. I have an idea in my head, guess I'll find out if I'm right next book.
