I find myself wide awake at 3 am after finishing reading my copy. It was an amazing book from start to finish. I figured I was accustomed to Darynda's writing and knew where things would go, or rather how she would tackle them. Man did she totally throw to left field with the ending. It is like jumping into a new series but with characters we love!

This installment really cleared up some story lines and answered some long time questions. In past reviews others have written they didn't like all the detective work on the sides or Charley putting herself in danger, but I really like that part about her. It's who she is and why we love her. She doesn't always act her age but with a messed up life like hers who would?

This series is amazing. Thank you for a wonderful ride Ms Jones!
I do not rate this book as a juv book at all, I think of it is more of a crime thriller with very adult content.

I enjoyed the book very much. It was a different look at crime and how to solve it. Growing up with a Dad who was a serial killer would be bad enough, but to be groomed to follow in his footsteps is a nightmare for Jazz. This book is a struggle in trying to find himself, and will himself to be "normal" when he is not.

It captured my attention, I only give it four stars for a little minor detail that bothered me as I listed to the book on tape. In some areas it seemed a little too much he said/she said type of things.

Basically, this is a good make your skin crawl a little read.
I really enjoyed the book, it was the first book in the series so there was a lot of setting up but I found the world interesting. There wasn't sex in it so it is also one I can share with my 13 year old, which is a big deal to me. Hard to find GOOD books without some sex in them these days.

Mercy is pulled into some wolf pack issues and helps figure out the conclusion. There is obviously something very special about her and her instincts that I do not think we will find out about right away.
I had a ying/yang relationship with this book. Some of it reminded me of Firefly and what the government tried to produce on Miranda. Now that the geekiness in me is showing...

A world with emotions aside from fear erased, because you need fear to rule, but is this living or a living death?

The end picked up and turned things around a bit, I am more excited about seeing where it will lead now... until the last bit I was contemplating not reading the next book in the series.
Amazing Recipe book. I have found a family favorite that everyone in the house is totally gaga over. The Herb Chicken Breast with Stuffing. There are a couple more that I really like too.

It is a great way to get some new twists on some old meals, and my husband is very happy! A good book to add to your personal cook book collection! I am going to have to check out Volume 1 now.

I have been cooking from this cookbook for the past year.
I received Aerisia free for review.

We start out with immediate action with our heroine being taken from Earth to a new world. She soon realizes she is supposed to be the savior of this new world, and has to be joined so no harm comes to her until she learns all she needs to learn from this magical world.

Cons:
I felt some tweaking could be done Hannah's life and back-story. I was confused trying to figure out her age, and quite surprised she was old enough to have graduated from High School by some of her thoughts and actions, yet again when someone is that young and plopped into a situation like this, one might kick her heels a bit and start acting like a middle schooler if you know what I mean.

Pros:
1. Loved the new world and fascinated by the races.
2. Liked the book with some meat yet a Tween could read this. It is so hard finding books with substance for my soon to be 13 year old. She gets really bored with books written for her age.
3. It's a book where I want to hunt out the next one in the series and will make it a point to do so. It really starting picking up right when it ended. So much more I want to know.

I really loved the book and cannot wait for book 2.

The final installment of the Cat and Bones Saga. I really enjoyed it but was slightly disappointed at the length of the book. I found some area's I really wish were expanded.

More on Katie for sure, a child that grew up the way she did opens a great big door to how she adapts to being plopped into the "real world." I really felt more should be added in that area. With that filled in a bit it would of been a 5 star hands down!
Really loved reading about Jeremy and Clay in their younger years.

This book was really good on letting a person know how Jeremy rises to his ranks to Alpha

The book itself has 3 sections,

1. How Jeremy was born.
2. How Jeremy found Clay, and the reasons for their strong bond.
3. Jeremy and the symbols. More back story.

Love this book!
My favorite book in the series to date. Kelley has really become a strong author in her writings. In the first few of this series I liked them but something just seemed off, as I read the books the better it gets.

So much fun to be with Elena and Clay again, battling their own demons as they deal with the rogues in the area. The fun banter between the two makes me laugh out loud. I really like these characters the best so far.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

The Biography is a hard to follow and written in such a way that sometimes you need to read some sentences a couple of times to try and grasp what the author is trying to say. It doesn't seem real factually based but as if someone is trying to describe something that is pure assumption. I liked her as an actress and wanted to learn more actual facts about her. if anything I feel more lost.

I really enjoyed the character depth in book 5, City of Lost Souls. I am looking forward to book six to tie up some plots. I am also going to start reading the other books that are out concerning Mortal Instruments.
Wonderful tie up to the series with many questions and past history filled in. Many twists and turns.
Being sick has its advantages, I get to read more of Darynda Jones.

I really enjoyed seeing the character growth and the complexities of growing up. Lorelei is learning a few things, and she is not liking it all. We see her try and figure out not just how to BE the Prophecy, but how to live it, what it means... memories returning, demons emerging, and where is her backup!?

I look forward to digging into book 3 in the series this evening.
Just finished this book as I was reading it before my daughter does, it doesn't disappoint. There is some typical teenage feelings in there that we adults roll our eyes at but it is great for kids :)

This book starts out when a girl finds out that death just doesn't quite mean what she thinks it means. Her life changes dramatically and we have paranormal with a dash of angels.

Darynda does not disappoint.
As usual, Darynda Jones does NOT disappoint!

We take off on another journey with Charley as she tackles her home being taken over by too many blonde ghosts that will not talk to her, Rayes tempting her at every turn, and trying to save so much of what she holds dear.

I am always laughing out loud with this series, and suddenly finding myself wanting Ozzy too!

My husband just started reading the series and he is someone embarrassed about laughing out loud at work cuz the people look at him funny.

Have you ever noticed how Charley makes having ADD sexy?
An author doing fetish research, much to her dismay, finds herself being sucked in

Definitely a book to make you ponder realities. Just about the time I thought I had the book figured out the last short story really threw me for a loop.

It contains four short stories with explainable events.

I was interested in starting juicing after my husband hounded me for awhile. This book is quite helpful for those starting out with some information and some starter recipes.

What I really liked about the book is at the end of the recipe, there was information on WHY this particular recipe is good for you and what the different ingredients do. Very helpful!
This book was a shorter read than average. It was very fast paced which was nice yet at the same time I was so into the story itself I wanted to know more of the dynamics. I also had a slight problem with a paragraph switching too fast without real warning and would need to reread to make sure I was on the right track. That is the only reason it didn't go 5 stars for me.

That being said, it was a gritty book, down and dirty on criminals vs. the law and brother's love. No matter if they are criminals or law abiding citizens. It was a very good book and I really look forward to reading some more of Keith Rommels books!

Great closing for a Trilogy, she ended it yet left it open so that new adventures could continue in the world. I was very pleased with it.

As a mother of a Tween, I was happy that the intimate scenes are not so graphic she cannot finish the series.

I would also like to add that I walked away after reading the book with a smile over horses... but I am not going to give anything away.
Victim Six had a strong female character lead and I really like that. Everything wasn't put together from the very start, the police actually stumbled a bit trying to figure it all out.

Some people complained of the killers point of view, however I haven't read many books with the killers point of view so I rather liked getting a new look at things.
I liked the book enough to check out book two in this series. I hated the texting lingo. We always told our kids if they wanted to text us, write out the whole thing or we will delete it like they never sent it. Perfect example of why kids cannot spell at all anymore.

I am liking the twins and I also enjoyed the twists.
Adorable funny book for children to read. My daughter sat by my side and giggled the whole time and she is almost 12. It is all funny animal pictures.

FBI agent with a ax to grind, finding out about vampires and due to her personal loss, really wants to kick some butt.

I really thought with a little more in depth info it would of made a better book, yet it only a short story. Perhaps I am just not a real fan of short stories.
A beginner’s guide to Star Wars. There is no fluff; it gets straight to the point. I really liked the book, and I am an avid Star Wars guru. The thing that I liked the most is that even I learned a some things in this book.

Starting with Episode 1, and continuing with trivia, the book was right on, easy and quick to read. To know nothing about the movies, and memorize this book, a person could easily hold his own in the Star Wars debates that happen around the geek tables. After the movies are described, the author goes into some finer points about what makes Star Wars so epic. Who shot first, and why the debate, a section about R2-D2 and C-3PO and why they are so popular and what role do they play in the movies.

Missing would be a couple of paragraphs of the Wookie Holiday special, and a little more about the cartoon series The Clone Wars, and the new movies that are coming out from Disney.
For the person that has not seen the movies, or read the books, this is a great quick read.

I received this book for a free review.

The book is about a girl who meets up with a vamp and how her life changes. There was quite a bit of sex in the book so if you are looking for that you will not be disappointed. I just feel that there was actually more of a story I wanted to read.
I have wanted to learn more Mediterranean types of cooking for awhile, I didn't pay so much attention to the "diet" aspect of it, but as a new way to cook. This also goes into what exactly the Mediterranean cooking was.

I became fascinated with it when my husband and I went to a restaurant and he actually ATE carrots. The seasoning was amazing.

What was really nice about this book was the meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Also included was how many servings each meal makes.

I found it hard to get into this book of short stories. Perhaps this is just not the medium I like. I found that the stories just where not making much sense to me and I didn't finish the book.

I really loved this book, it is a short read but gave so much information. I have read on meditation techniques in the past, but this gave different ways to utilize what is right for you. That was the big thing, what is right for some other people may not be right for you. Yet in that same light, what works for you most of the time may not work as good for a different type of life stress.
