A fine way to introduce the aftermath of such a disastrous event. Gayle Forman does well to introduce another perspective into the mix. This love story was an all out battle that had such devastatingly admirable consequences; I had much difficulty putting it down. What an amazing read.
Gayle Forman's use of the first person perspective on the ever contemplative question of "what happens next?" Is truly astounding. I found myself wrapped up in the characters' lives, loves, and losses. The internal struggle that Mia deals with is an all too familiar one, and Forman hands this idea over to the reader as they make it their own. We'll done.
Love love love this book. I recall reading it as a child and feeling as though I were actually at the fair with Wilbur and Charlotte. It was a joy to get to read it again, and it is one that I highly recommend re-reading...if for nothing other than the utmost enjoyment of a childhood memory.
This is by far the best book I've read this year. Each story intertwines with one another, and every horrifying tale brings you one step closer to the brink of insanity. You constantly find yourself searching for the how's and why's, but you only find yourself asking more questions. This is a great read for anyone daring enough to stare into the darkness and wonder what lies beyond.
I absolutely loved this book. The absolutely strange quality of the story and it's characters immediately drew me in. Who wouldn't love a time portal traveling character whose friends are ghosts stuck in some sort of time loop? Who wouldn't admire the unique quality that is exhibited by each and every peculiar child? This was a haunting novel that was full of adventure, family, and an eerie mystery that has you on the edge of your seat, waiting for the next book.
The description of the book as being likened to that of an "Indiana Jones" type of adventure is what immediately drew me to this book. I was pleasantly surprised that they were not wrong. This novel was wrought with a high stakes adventure that also peppered in some romantic and scifi like qualities that I absolutely love in a fictional novel. You will have a difficult time putting this book down, and you will find that you begin to live the many lives that the character lives, and suffer through the same agonies of remembrance that they suffer through as well. This is a perfect novel for those who love an epic love story with a few twists here and there.
This book was a good read, especially for those baseball fans out there, such as myself. I was drawn in by the character, and felt emotionally attached to him throughout his experiences. Having the added bonus of being able to read this book during baseball season, I was head over heels for Hazelgrove's colorful descriptions and heart warming tale.

If you're going to curl up with a good book, why not curl up with a guilty pleasure...or three. This trilogy, by E.J. James, has everything a reader could want in a seductively enthralling story. A.G. Howard does a phenomenal job of taking the well established tale of Alice in Wonderland, and taken it a step further. Through magical twists and turns you will never be disappointed. This novel is for all those day dreamers who always knew there was more under the surface, and never stopped believing in the white rabbit.
As a debut novel for Matthew Quick I was blown away. This novel is tough to put down and you want so very much to understand the main character and his plight. I found that I was experiencing all of his emotional short comings with him throughout his journey, and I sincerely encourage anyone whose come upon a difficult moment in their life to pick up this book and live with the characters for the duration of the story.
If you're looking for enduring love and you have a box of kleenex handy, this novel by Cecelia Ahern is for you. It is a wonderfully written love story that will have you turning pages faster than you realize.
This novel is a stunning visualization of a world gone awry, and with only your own sanity to hold to you may not know what's up from what's down. It is a heartwarming tale I encourage everyone to try out.
One of the darkest post apocalyptic tales ever written, Julianna Baggott takes the reality of a catastrophic destruction of the Earth and turns it into the most devastating catalog of events and characters. It is hard not to become emotionally involved in the lives of these characters, and Julianna's writing is so powerful it will make the reader weep for the sadness that surrounds them.
A phenomenal story about the power of language, and the strength of the weak, "The Pledge" takes the reader through a caste system that has every likeness to those class systems we see around us every day. The extreme nature of this story's class system will keep the reader at the edge of their seat, rooting for the underdog, and looking to join the fight.
This novel amazed my heart and my soul. I was astounded by the transition each character went through during this earth shattering experience. For any reader who seeks to look deep inside the human soul, I would highly recommend this book.
After having read this review book from cover to cover I have decided that it is, by far, the best NCLEX prep book I have ever come across. Should anyone be in the market for a good NCLEX prep book I would recommend this review book by Hogan over Kaplan's prep book. Each section is put together with such detail and precision that allows for an easy user friendly use of the book.
The Boy Who Played With Dark Matter: Secret Adventures of Zeddy (Count of Monte Cristo) (Volume 11) by Holy Ghost Writer
This short tale by the Holy Ghost Writer was quite an adventure. The imaginary world that the reader is taken to is a great adventure that you are sure to enjoy. Another thrilling aspect of this novel is it's mystery writer, of whom the identity has yet to be revealed but who's literary cues will lead the reader to the identity of the author. There is so much involved in the mystery of the tale and the mystery of the author that will keep the reader on the edge of their seat.
This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.I had chills reading this novel. As experienced through the eyes of Violet, a young girl who can see the death echo on both the victim and the killer, one is taken through a chilling and exhilarating tale of murder and mystery. After finishing this novel I couldn't wait to continue Violet's adventures right alongside her.
Full of fun quip and adorable humor, Mindy's book will make you smile, laugh, and shake your fist at the air. Mindy has a quirky personality that shines through in this book. You will not want to put it down.
This magical whimsy of a tale will take you down a dark path full of magic, mystic, and wonder. I was caught up in the majesty of the circus and the lure of the enchanting characters the minute I began to read those very first words.
It is a book you will not want to put down, nor will you be able to. It is quite an adventure, and one I hope everyone will take the time to embark upon.

Playing to the adoring fans of H.P. Lovecraft, this tale, with all of its quirky humor, will have you on the edge of your seat. If you love Lovecraft, you will love this. This is a modern twist on an age old tale; the cult, the god, and all the blood and sacrifice that must follow. This is truly not a book for any Sci-Fi Lovecraftians to miss.
Soul Surfer - Movie Tie-In: A True Story of Faith, Family, and Fighting to Get Back on the Board by Bethany Hamilton
This inspirational tale of a girl overcoming all odds will tug at your heart strings. You'll find that you won't be able to put this book down as you comb through the young life of Bethany Hamilton. She takes you on a journey of her struggles and triumphs, and all the while you find that she is the bravest woman of her time. This is a book that you will not want to miss, I promise.
I absolutely loved this book, every single page. This particular story is as peculiar as it claims its characters to be. In fact, the added bonus of the peculiar pictures throughout the book are quite the spectacle. These pictures help you to visualize that which the characters are so eager for you, the reader, to believe. You will not be able to put down this page turner of a book. There is never a moment where you aren't wondering; is this real? With the great references to WWII and the wonderful narrative of the present, this book will make you feel as though anything is possible, opening up your mind to that which you had once thought improbable, but not for those who are peculiar.

The witty pair, Watson and Holmes, take the reader on a very investigative journey that leads them down many paths, all of which fall to great horrors and surprises. I was pleasantly surprised by this book. Pam Jenoff takes the reader on a journey that illuminates all of the joys and fears of the past. This novel brings to light man's ability to sacrifice everything in the face of love. Through many twists and turns, Jenoff's writing attaches the reader to the characters, allowing them to experience everything the characters experience. This novel is meant to transport you to those far away countries, and entice you to experience those places through the eyes of those of the past. It is a great novel that takes you out of your home and plants you in a world of deceit and treachery. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has a sweet tooth for historical fiction, you'll be sure to love it.
J.K. Rowling has the ability to, not only capture her audience, but keep them wanting more. This book is an excellent read, and only gets better the second time around. The characters develop and grow as the story progresses. This first book, in a series of seven, offers a perfect combination of excitement and adventure, paired evenly with a "warm, fuzzy" feeling of friendship that endures all. Great for all ages, I find myself going back to reread this book more than once.
In following Lauren Kate's "Fallen," her latest book in the series, "Torment," paves the way for change and excitement. Kate's ability to draw the reader in from the first moment of the book is what makes me keep coming back for more. Kate's writing style is both exciting and engaging, bringing the reader emotionally into the story. Throughout unknown friendships, and hidden alliances, the fate of the world seems to rest with Luce, Kate's main character. Leaving the story hanging in the air, with no discernible conclusion, I look forward to the third book in the series.
