young adolescent orphan gets mixed up in an accidental murder with a rival gang in a violent community. Slow moving plot, until social relationships begin to form with a female from the opposing group. Many similarities with West Side Story in the beginning, until higher stakes murder is introduced to the plot. Characterization is interesting.
