I love everything about Vera Wong! This series will not disappoint.

Another in-depth historical fiction from Kristen Hannah. I wasn't sure how I felt about this book, especially after reading The Women, and loving it as much as I did.

This book wrecked me. The hardships this family endured; the dust storms, the depression, the move west, not to mention starvation. This was a title I had to put down several times in order to read something light-hearted to take a break.

I didn't see that ending coming, I figured it was going to be a loss, but certainly not that one! I am continually amazed at Kristen Hannah and the research she puts into her novels.

This series is a fun, keep you reading past bedtime, can't put down until you've finished kind of series. I love Finlay, even when I want to shake her! I wish I lived next door to her so I could join in her adventures.
