This books pictures and layouts of the pages were very interesting and eye catching! It is a spin off of Cinderella, but they are invited to a basketball game instead. Could be used as a good read aloud book and good for explaining character traits.
This is a story using phrases such as "I love you to the moon and back" to show the compassion between two bunnies. The book was using comparisons between the big and little bunny to express the love between them.
This book had a lot of little lessons in only a few pages! It teaches about being unique and embracing yourself. When Cornelius went to the monkey, who helped him instead of saying "so what" like the others, it taught a lesson on teamwork and learning. In the end all of the others were trying to do what Cornelius had learned from the monkey, but couldn't do so.
This book repeated some of the rhymes in the beginning, but overall was a really good book about taking care of one another and giving back. It starts with a mother tending to the needs of her very picky eaters, until she is overwhelmed. Then it is her birthday and the children surprise her with a party including all of their favorite things. This ended up being a nice surprise since she thought that they had all forgotten her birthday.
This book was a cute and suspenseful rhyming book. It is all about what the bird heard about the "new one" coming to the barn, and all the animals were trying to figure it out, along with the readers!
