Very well done! I received this book in audio form in exchange for a review. The book does an excellent job of portraying the men of the 4-4-2; their reasons for joining the military and fighting for a country that had seemingly disowned them. The challenges and horrors of war are well depicted without being so graphic that the story is lost on them. My son and I listened to the story together and were both visibly moved by it which says a lot for a 15 year boy. I've sense shared teasers about the book with several of my 5th grade students who have requested that our school library make copies available for reading. The audio version will remain a part of my classroom library to be used in a listening center with a follow up research project.
This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.I like it A Lot! Choice is so important for students just as it is for all of us. With choice interest levels rise for both students and parents when menus are used for homework and home projects that are assigned. The Science book in this series was used with our 5th graders during summer school this year and teachers are requesting that both the science and language arts editions be ordered for next year. My only suggestion would be perforated pages for masters for easier copying.
This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.Tovi and his friends are off to London to escape the rain. What they find in London aside from more rain is a great adventure. Janiana Rossiter does a great job of painting visual and mental pictures for her book's young audience. Fun to read with little ones and a good choice for early elementary response to reading projects.

I really enjoyed this book and the nod to Holmes without trying too hard to be Holmes. The plot keeps you guessing and the back and forth between the brothers is quite fun. Well written and fun to read, I look forward to more from the Paget Brothers.

Well done! This series offers readers a way to get a jump start on a new language prior to taking a course in the language, a great guide for someone visiting a country for the first time, and a fun way to introduce new languages into Family Nights. Thank you Ms. Swan. This edition in particular has come in handy living and working in El Paso.

very well written! If you enjoy the personification of animals in stories then this is the series for you. I will enjoy reading this series to my young students and watching their imaginations take off as they work on their story response projects.

Great First Day Of School Story. I think every child has had a visit from a Busy Dizzy or two at one time or another. In its electronic format this could be an excellent choice for introducing the technology center in a classroom for second or third graders and a read aloud for first and below. I like to have older students visit the little ones and read a first day of school story to them and then tell them how they relate to the story and about their first time in school. This will be a book I will add to that program.

Lovely pictures to color over and over. I like the idea of an adult coloring book in PDF form.

Well written! Keeps you turning pages. An excellent addition to an author study of Pam Munoz Ryan.

I look forward to sharing this story with my students and creating mini lessons from it in science, safety and writing! Can't wait to check out the first four volumes.

The Incubus Job by Diana Pharaoh Francis was made available through LibraryThing Early Reviewers.
Completely Enjoyable! - Mallory Jade, former supernatural exterminator turned fixer and protector of all things supernatural is an interesting and likable character with a lot to prove to herself and her former partner and love interest Law. Will they rekindle their once hot love affair or will the job get in the way? Ordinarily I wouldn't even pick up a romance novel but this one is well written and quite enjoyable. I look forward to continued adventures with Mallory and her host of supernatural Tagalogs.

This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.Good Read - Is it real or just happening in the soldier's head? This psychological thriller will keep you guessing from beginning to end. The plot and characters are well thought out and believable and you want to keep turning the page to see what happens next.It could use a little editing but other than that a book worthy of purchase and the time spent reading it. I look forward to reading more by Matthews.
