I have to say when I first read the blurb on H2O I wanted to read it. I didn't know anything about the authors but I am always willing to try new books and authors. I didn't realize when I started reading this book that the authors were coming from a spiritual/religious place. I finally caught on about 1/3 into it and when I mentioned it to my husband he said "well it's good you didn't know or you would have never started it." He was so right. I didn't read the bios on the back, which I usually do, so that is sort of telling in itself that I was fated to read it. I was raised Roman Catholic and attended grades one through twelve at parochial schools. After which I decided that while I believed in some of the things that I was taught I didn't really feel connected to the church. So I basically walked away. I usually avoid anything that has a religious theme to it for that reason. I don't think I will have the same level of experience that Kate did, but it is making me reevaluate my judgment around avoiding everything religious.

I really enjoyed reading H2O and felt that it was well told and a thoroughly enjoyable read. While reading it I related to Kate so much. There were many things about her that are similar. The need to move far away from her family, the need to over achieve and her choices in the men in her life for starters. I have a few people in mind that I will recommend this to. I guess I just want to say thank you to you both for giving me a little nudge to get show more me thinking again. Reminding me that we have choices to make and how we treat other people has far reaching consequences. Sometimes just by being there to listen or even just giving a stranger a smile will change their day.

Wow! Absolutely one of the best books I have read in a very long time. I started reading and could not stop. Malcolm is one amazing character. He reached into my heart and touched my soul. What an amazing journey. I have to say that I have not read a book that took me on such an emotional ride in many years. I just finished the book a few minutes ago and I am still reeling. I am typically a romance/fantasy reader but this is definately going on my favorite books list. Martin Crosbie will be on my watch list for authors to buy in the future. All I can say is this was an incredible story to read.
Brynn McNair is cursed whenever he is around a woman for more than an hour she owns his body for the night. Kim Vaughn just wants to find an ordinary man with ordinary problems and live an ordinary life. So naturally cosmic trouble maker Sparkle Stardust steps in to give them both what they need. But not necessarily what they asked for.
Nina Bangs delivers another story of love and fun with a little chaos thrown in for good measure. I definitely enjoyed it.
Oliver is looking for adventure with his friend Peter by his side. His older sister Sarah refuses to be left behind. They find adventure and quite a few strange characters along the way. This was a wonderful story and very fun to read. I had trouble putting it down because I just wanted to know what was going to happen next. I loved the characters and didn't really want to say goodbye. I hope they will be back so I can go on another adventure.

I would definitely recommend it for children who love fantasy and adventure. This is going to be a book I will be purchasing for some young readers I know.

I am looking forward to reading more from William Kondylis. He is definitely going to be on my auto buy list! There aren't that many authors I say that about but he has gotten me hooked. Hopefully I won’t have to wait too long.
I must say I was VERY pleasantly surprised. James Thompson I thank you from the bottom of my heart for leading me to new and unexplored territory! I have been reading mostly romance and paranormal lately because I like to read to escape. I usually have a few books going at a time because I keep them in different places just in case I find myself with a few minutes to spare. I carried this one with me and totally ignored the others on my list! I just wanted to keep turning the pages to find out where it was leading me. I found myself wishing for a cold so I could just lie in bed and finish it. I did not read the first one and was concerned I would not connect with the main character, I was wrong. But now I need to get the first one! I also want to go on vacation and visit Finland. I will definitely be recommending this to personal friends of mine who I think will enjoy it as much as I have. I have definitely become a James Thompson fan!
I wasn't thrilled with this one. I thought some of the stories started out with potential and then just kind of petered out and a couple were just plain rough to get through. I picked this book up for two reasons one is that I am trying to read all of the Dark Hunter novels in order and one is in here as a short story the other reason is I am always looking for new authors and this one had quite a few I've never read before. Out of the nine stories I enjoyed four of them so I guess that is okay. I did find two new authors so that is a good thing too! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless they were searching as I was for new authors to get addicted to.
I don't like saying which were my favs because not everyone has the same tastes but if you enjoy the same types of authors I do I'll list them.
Sherrilyn Kenyon, P. N. Elrod, Lori Handeland and Rachel Caine.
The other authors were L.A. Banks, Jim Butcher, Esther M. Friesner, Charlaine Harris and Susan Krinard.
I will probably give them another chance, I just don't feel the need to bump them into the I gotta read it pile.
Dealing with both attraction and prejudice, this is a very good read. Lora Leigh never disappoints.

I really enjoyed this a lot. Without spoiling too much, I like how he is strong but he understands when to use force and when to hold back. Now that is smexy to me!
I'd keep him for sure!
Great book!

What an enjoyable read. I will now have to pick up the rest of the books in this series.
I could relate to the characters, no one was perfect or superhuman. We all have flaws we all make mistakes, but we are all entitled to have love in our lives.

This book reinforced the belief that when you start something it is worth seeing through to the very end! And the saying about assuming something continues to ring true. If you want to know what someone else wants or thinks, you have to be willing to ask.
This is the story of a young magician who learns unexpected things about himself. Sometimes what you want and what life presents to you are not the same thing. Acceptance of others may not be easy for most of us, but acceptance of ourselves is the hardest of all.

I enjoyed reading this book, which I had not expected, but as usual I began with an open mind and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. There were times I actually laughed, chuckled or smiled without thinking about it. (Which prompted curious stares from both my son and my husband.) I stayed up way too late finishing it last night. I am very glad I did.
If you are looking to enjoy a story that is written to truly entertain you should pick this one up.
So far I have enjoyed the first story (The Yearning-Hannah Howell), and the second (A Hell of a Time-Jackie Kessler) I did not enjoy at all. It had potential but in my opinion it fell way beneath my expectation. I will continue on as there are two more stories to read.

Ok maybe I just don't like succubus'. I didn't like the third story either(City og Demons-Richelle Mead). I never really cared too much for the characters, but I did like him more than her or what happened. Will they be able to make it work? I really didn't care. After a while I was hoping it wouldn't and one of them would just move on and find someone else! Still keeping my fingers crossed because I like Lynsay Sands and I haven't read her story yet.

Thank goodness Lynsay Sands story was worth the read. I was pretty disappointed with this book as a whole but I did find one new author that I can read more of.

I would definately not recommend this book to someone but it was not a total waste of my time.
I did enjoy this story. I have a difficult time enjoying a story when one of the characters is so self depreciating. In this story both characters have "being worthy" issues so it was a struggle at times. They do both grow and learn more about themselves and it wasn't a complete pity party which is what saved it for me. It is a good read, it just didn't WOW me.
I have to say with all of the hype I've heard on Anita Blake I was disappointed.
I had heard that the beginning of the series was fantastic, awesome, great. I didn't think so. I am now hearing that the last few didn't quite measure up to the rest. That scares me. I started them anyway thinking that if they started getting stale or just not for me I'd stop. I think I've already gotten there. I have so many books on my to-read/review list that I can't waste any more of these.
Very disappointing.
This book was entertaining enough, but I really don't like the hidden secret baby thing. That really annoys me. I know she says she tried to let him know..blah blah blah. If you know where someone is, it shouldn't take over a year to get a letter "return receipt only" to him! Other than that little tidbit the rest of the book/story was good. I wouldn't recommend only for the reason stated above. I know other people really enjoy those story lines and I would never take that away from them. So if that is your cup of tea..enjoy this one.
I love Lora Leigh and her Nauti boys. She takes these playboy wild guys and matches them up with women who don't try to smother them into submission but who recognize the wildness and embrace it. Natches always was the one I felt would have the hardest time finally accepting that someone could be there for him. A woman who would understand his dark side enough to not try to fix him, but give him what he needs to heal. I will definitely continue to read the Nauti series. I love her passionate scenes they make me want to hand the book to my husband and say…”here is something I wouldn’t mind trying”.
Reece is a bad boy player who needs to change his game plan when he finds a woman who prefers work over play. Sidney is a woman who is sure love doesn't exist until it chases her down and tackles her.

I enjoyed this book and have purchased the other books in the series. I was not as connected to the characters as I am sure I would have been if I had read the books in order, but I was not lost either. I really like Reece, but I would like to know Sidney better. Perhaps her character was one that is explored a bit more in the other books. I shall have to see. When I read those I may have to change my review.

I will definately be reading more Lisa Phillips.
This story of the eldest of three brothers and the illegitimate daughter of a king was a nice read. It was refreshing to read a story where the two main characters don't deny they are attracted to each other and don't treat each other worse then they would thier garbage. I completely enjoyed it and I am looking forward to the other books in the series. I love Highlanders and this one is going on my will read again someday shelf.
A soldier transformed into a new race with questionable loyalties. A daughter trying to hold on to her father and the man she loves who are at opposite moral stances. What should you do when your heart is going to be broken either way and you are sure one of them has to lose?

I really enjoyed this one. I like that it contained a few new ideas so I wasn't reading the same old story. I also like that the characters had some substance. The woman was a little weak and whiney for me, but not enough so that I felt like chucking the book. It also set up some other characters for future books. All in all a great read and eye candy to boot! So, yeah!
I couldn't wait to read this story. I was not floored by it though. There were times I thought it was going a little to slowly. Also time would jump considerably and that left me wondering how the characters felt during that time. Towards the end the "secrets" seemed to be to big to have stayed hidden so long and then one was discovered so quickly it was unbelievable that no one else had figured it out. I still love the series as a whole. I read parts of it years ago out of order and now I am trying to read it in order so some of the surprise is gone. If you like sweet love stories that contain families where the people each get to be the focus, this is a great one to read. Not too much graphic sex so if that is what you are looking for this is not the book I would recommend.
One of my absolute all time favorites. I have reread this one quite a few times and recommended it to people also.
I really enjoyed this book a lot. The characters were pretty normal with flaws and strengths. There were a few loose ends, but they didn't kill the story for me. I liked the tension between the characters. There was a fair amount of push me, pull you, but at least it wasn't one running one chasing.
Overall a great read.
