Interesting enough book, but not interesting enough for me to finish it. I got bored about halfway through and just couldn't get the motivation to read more than a page or two at a time. So I'm giving up and letting it go, hopefully to someone who will enjoy the first half more than me and then see what the second half has to offer.

Very interesting series. I learned a lot about a part of the world that I've had limited exposure to. The writing wasn't amazing, it seemed a bit repetitive, but it kept me interested enough to finish all three books.

I read this in a weekend, it was an easy read but left me thinking about it for days after. It's the type of book that would have my mother sobbing as she turns each page, there are a lot of feelings and emotions in such a short space. I'm glad I randomly chose this off of my bookshelf (it was there based on a rec from a friend) for my weekend read!
