Have you known someone who gets pregnant at a young age?
Well read this. In this book called November Blues by: Sharon M. Draper a young girl named November Nelson gets pregnant, her boyfriend died, and she wouldn’t be able to finish school. I really liked this book because it reflects on all of our young teenage girls and how they make mistakes getting pregnant, how love ones die, and how you can’t finish school. I would recommend this book to highschoolers or mature people because it deals with sex, cursing, and thing with pregnancy. Sharon M. Draper writes some good books. Her books includes all about teens and their life and situations. She knows all about these situations because she has been a high school teacher so she can relate to all the situations, and she also is a Coretta Scott King award
Have you ever got blamed for something you didn’t do?
Well read this book by Louis Sachar called Holes. Stanley Yelnats is a cursed boy because of his great-great-grandfather. Stanley got send to a horrible place called Camp Green Lake. He got sent there because of a boy named Zero stole some shoes and was scared because the police was following behind him. So Zero dropped the shoes down the highway and it hit Stanley on the head and the police caught him and he got blamed for it. I really liked this book because it’s funny and that after you’re done with the book you could watch the movie which is pretty good. Louis Sachar is an award winning author and writes fictional educational books for children. I recommend this book to anyone because it’s a really funny book and it have a movie after it.
Have you ever liked a boy but he didn’t know you liked him?
Well read this book by: Wendelin Van Draaren called Flipped. In this story it tells to side of the main character. A girl named Juliana has a rough life; with her slow uncle; her messy dirty yard; her eggs and chickens; her broke caring parents; and her crazy wild weird family. On the other hand Bruce has a wonderful life with is caring family; annoying sister; nice house, his weird grandfather that barely talks to him; and his judging parents. This book is very good with it two sides if the story; a girl liking a boy but the boy don’t really like her until it hits him; and I also like this book because it’s a book from not judging it from its cover. Wendelin Van Draaren is a American Writer of children and young adult fiction, especially detective, mystery, and spy stories. I would recommend this book to people 10 and older because it has some big words.
