I have to say that I wasn't entirely sure what I was going to think about this book. I love reading about other people's sexcapades, but this was a little on the rough side compared to what I'm used to. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. It was such an easy and intriguing read.

It's about a young, struggling artist and her best friend, also an artist, and their idea to make an adult film and the craziness that ensues. I recommend this book to anyone looking for an interesting read. Definitely easy to get through.

Excellent book. Horrifying. I actually went to John Hersey High School and we had to read it in English class. Not for the faint of heart, that's for sure. Reading about the after-effects of radiation poisoning, starvation and total devastation is difficult because this isn't a story that you can just shrug off as fiction. Everything you read is real. The suffering was incredible. Highly recommended. Great read.
My absolute favorite King book and possibly my favorite book of all. This is not your typical King novel. It has pleny of heart and a little bit of sadness. Lisey's Story is about an author's widow who is left to pick up after her husband's death and the struggles she faces in doing so. But as with other classic King novels, this book has an element of fear and otherworldlyness that only he can achieve.
