This is not a story book, so much as a collection of prayer examples. It won't show children how to pray, but it's a cute option for having prayers on hand for the moments you need help with what to say.

This is a solid book for toddlers and younger children. The word count is low enough for early readers to enjoy it, as well as making it a good choice for reading aloud to those with short attention spans. The illustration style is simple and clean with enough color to be interesting, but not so much that it is overstimulating. The story is a little silly and has a good moral to it. Overall a really fun children's book.

This novella was very interesting. I don't usually read historical fiction, but this one was enjoyable. It has a few fantastical elements, not quite fantasy but it isn't strict to the time period. All in all this book will appeal to those who enjoy a light mystery or want to see current political themes explored in historical settings.

I made the mistake of reading this before the first two. The author did a good job of including the necessary information so I could catch up on the gist of things. Over all an interesting read. Maybe not my favorite, but I will definitely be looking up the first in the series to give it a go.

This book is very cute. The language is simple and the word count is low, making it good for early readers. The pictures are very well done. Interesting and full of life without being too busy or overly stimulating in color. I enjoyed reading. I enjoy reading it to the kids. The kids enjoy reading it. Or, they enjoy looking at the pictures and quoting the text back to me.

When I first saw this book I thought the printer did the author dirty. The front cover was unclear and the colors looked washed out, and smudged. Turns out the quality was on par for the rest of the book.
The majority of the short stories I found to be interesting, and the writing quality does improve as you go. There was a wide range of subjects, mainly romance plotlines set within other genres. This is a good starter book for anyone wanting to get into reading, or with a low reading level.
Over all I didn't enjoy the book. It's not a bad book, but not one I would recommend to friends or family.

I was not sure about this book when I started it, now I am an avid fan. My favorite thing about the book is how the perception of the world slowly develops with each twist. Even the parts I was able to predict came with a twist I couldn't foretell. All in all an excellent read. I highly recommend! (particularly for those who like winged men)

This book was a simple sweet story. Most fantasy novels seek to create an entire world, not this one. I enjoyed the way that religion and history were stretched to make the world of magic hiding beneath our own more believable. The genre of this book may best be described as cozy fantasy. There were enough compelling elements to make it enjoyable, but like a cozy mystery, nothing too dark or threatening for a Sunday afternoon. All in all, not one for my favorites list but still one I'll recommend to others.

Loved this book!! It has a little of everything; adventure, mystery, humour, crime, fantasy, misunderstandings, and a perfect ending. I picked this book up on a whim and it's officially on my recommendations list, and favorites shelf. A must read.
Miss Benson has let life pass her by. Now she's turning her midlife crisis into the journey of a life time. Joining her is the world's most unlikely assistant. She travels heavy, can't speak French, and knows absolutely nothing about bugs.
The first half of this book was painfully slow. Lots of repetitive information and commentary, very little actually happens. The second half of the book is a fast paced engaging thriller that had me reading non-stop! If the entirety of the book had been written as well as part 4 this would be on my favorites list. As is, it's a great story with not so great execution.
Buggy is in her early twenties, painfully OCD, unsure what she's doing with her life, and struggling with a crushing emptiness in herself. In comes her birth father, empath psychic, and a woman whose entire life purpose is to kill Buggy.
