An abstract science fiction story that I felt strangely compelled to finish! Mildly intriguing storyline. I will try book two of this trilogy at a later time in the hope the storyline develops past the creeping algae that is slowly taking over Area X!

A rich and fascinating history of the Homo Sapiens journey from the early days to now. This was an eye opening, well written account of the amazing discoveries, horrific events and great leaps of progress we humans have taken throughout our time on this planet. I picked up many interesting facts that will serve me well at social functions and provide me with hours of continual thought as I ponder where we may be headed next.

A fabulous book that turns the world upside down, challenging ideas on gender and the roles men & women play! A fascinating take on women gaining control in a male dominated world. Will certainly get you thinking about the human race and whether a word where roles are reversed would make a difference.
