The Denbe family is the ULTIMATE dysfunctional family. I liked the wife Libby. Although she developed a major vice to deal with the family dysfunction, she still had a backbone when it came down to the bad guys and her husband. The family drama was intense at times. Overall, this was a little disappointing and too long. There wasn’t enough suspense and the story sometimes dragged. Plus, the bad guy went far out of his way to reach his goal. His plan was too elaborate and really didn’t make much sense. In the back of my mind I knew who the bad guy was from the start. I know there was a better way.
The Six Flags over Georgia of my youth: Drunken Barrels, Happy Motoring Freeway, the Krofft Puppet Theater, Jean Ribaut’s Adventure, Casa Magnetica and its slanting floor (that made me and my brother laugh continually for several minutes) the Okefenokee, the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack over the log ride, and my personal favorite, the yummy Cherry Berry with the toy figure inside atop the stick.
I read this Stephanie Plum short story in the anthology titled: Mary Higgins Clark presents The Plot Thickens.

This book always scared me as a kid. Finn the Fat was scary, especially in his last scene. It looks like he doesn't have a head.
I inserted my own page numbers as a kid. Why no page numbers?
