Four stars. I loved it, and hated it. Love makes the world work. But, it's a little slow in the middle. It truly talks about their secret meetings and growing love in the middle. When Lena finds out her mom is alive, I got really interested. I just wish she could have taken the necklace with her. I can't wait for book 2.
I have to say, though I am still reading it, it's pretty good. In the beginning, it's somewhat confusing because Meg mentions some things that are explained later on in the book and it gets confusing, but I urge you to read on, since all will come to a point and make sense. Four n' half stars, probably five when i'm done.
This book was WOW. I have to say that the Iron Fey series is the only book series i haven't been able to put down in a long time. Sure, there were other books I really liked, but there was something about this one that just made me keep wanting to read. Maybe it was the fact that it was the only book that had a lot of action and suspense and surprises in it in a long time. Ash and Meghan are two of the best couples in a long time I have seen, right after Percy and Annabeth from the Percy Jackson series. This book is a must read. Also, this is the third book in the series, so read the first two.
For those who wish to get away from all the romance involved in paranormal creatures and Twilight's sparkling vampires, read this book and the rest of the series. Dru is a svetocha, a female vampire with tricked-outed powers. She is one of two svetochas, and the other one wants her dead. Sure, her best friend, Graves: the teenage werwulf (yes, that's how the author spells werewolf), and her have a little romance between them, but the series is mostly about Dru and her goal to defeat the guy who destroyed her family and to kill the svetocha out to kill her. This series is five stars.
Note: This is my first review, so don't judge me.
Ok, this book is so sweet. It touched my heart. I can relate to the main character in a way. Jane doesn't get along with her mother that well; her mother tries to convince Jane she should hire this perfect actor, who is going out with Jane just to get the part in a movie based on Jane's book/life, but she doesn't like me. Her imaginary friend, Michael becomes real and they fall in love, but Michael's job is to be an imaginary friend, and soon must move on to the next child. Throughout the book, Jane and Michael spend as much time as possible with each other. In the end.....WAIT, I'm not telling you. I suggest you read the book to know. It will really move you.
