Disappointing
I have been a big fan of Dean Koontz and still am. But this book seemed to lack focus. The bad guys and creatures too easily despatched, the heroes' superpowers too convenient. I never felt at any point that they were in danger because they could just 'think' their way out of trouble.

Disappointing so far.
It's a shame because I really enjoyed 'The Passenger'. I'm halfway through and still waiting for something to happen. I'll stick with it, I guess, but struggling to maintain interest...

Excellent and gripping the end!
Loved this well-written book. Of course, I figured out who the the killer was half way through. Shame that the very skilled author is an unhappy Feminazi - but that seems to be the way of this sad modern world.

I thought this book was awful. The author seemed to be at a loss for words most of the time ('His eyes are rotten things') Then I watched the movie - a spoof horror/comedy populated with one-dimensional characters and based almost entirely upon special effects. I actually enjoyed watching it, but realized that turning it into a readable novel must be a near-impossible task.
After thoroughly enjoying 'Point Omega', I have to say I was a bit disappointed with this one.
Dividing the book into three distinct parts, through the eyes of three different narrators did not work well for me. Clearly, the author knows his subject, but I felt that I was reading more of a biography than a novel.
The reason I persevered to the end, was the main character, Yoshiko Yamaguchi (Ri Koran). Even though I am something of a Japanophile (laboring at learning the language; love the food; watch Japanese movies), I must confess that I thought she was a fictional character until late in the book!
Since then, I have read her biography on Wikipedia, and listened to her music on You Tube. What a remarkable life, and what an astonishing lady!
