I was thrilled to see that I was lucky enough to get an earlier reviewers copy of this book. I had heard so much in regards to this book, expectations were really high when I started reading this and it lived up to everything that was ever said about it. Gabrielle Hamilton takes you on a journey thru her life and every single detail is vivid, I as a culinary student would have greatly benefited from this book if I read it prior joining culinary school. This is a must read as it is not just for the food but life lessons that are learned on the way. I highly recommend this book.
