Acceptable story, enough that I finished it. Characters weren't anything new or exciting despite actually have a pretty good world blending sci-fi and fantasy.

I wouldn't consider it a true harem as there appears to only be 1 romantic or adult interest. There are hints at more coming in later books, but you dont get credit for the next book in this one.

The framework for a really good story and universe is there, it just isnt used to its full potential.

Enjoyable story, likable characters, leaves you wanting to read the next in the series.
