I enjoyed this book and thought the plot was good and it kept me attentive. I wish it was a little better edited. I think there are some areas that could be cleaned up to make it even better.

Great book. I really enjoyed it. This is my genre and this book did not disappoint. My only regret is that my copy was PDF and I would have rather have the book. I received this book free as a give away and it turned out to be a great read.

This book started great for me and I thought I was going to love it but then I bogged down. Maybe my fault, but it starts very interestingly.

This book is a great little book that is well written and offers solid information on many things, for me business. I am really enjoying the book, even mores than I expected as this isn't my favorite genre.

Simply the best book about Vietnam that I have ever read, and I have read many! The honesty with which Caputo writes this is refreshing and the journey he takes personally from initial deployment to his return home is fascinating. The book is powerful and it is the first book I recommend when one asks me for a book on Vietnam.

While I don't universally love every book written by McCullough, I do like most of them This, to me, is his greatest work! I absolutely loved this book and in reading it, I came to love Jon Adams. Oh that men would stand on principle like he did. He did it at the waste of his reputation and good character often as well. This book clearly teaches the sacrifice of Adams whole life to the cause of freedom, liberty and the creation of a nation that is self governed. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Very interesting read about Carey's work in the subcontinent of India. This book educates well on the beginning of the mission work that came out of Great Britain in the time of the colonizing of many countries within the empire. You will learn of Carey's love for people and his tireless work on behalf of the spreading of the gospel. William Carey was a pioneer in the advent of what is now the mission work of many denominations world wide.

This is the second Jacob Appel book i have read. I struggled through the first third of this and then just when i started complaining to myself, I started to enjoy it! This is a good read, not great, but well enough written and a unique story line! Some very odd characters but what I really enjoyed was the story tellers honesty with himself. "I should even care, but I do..." I can't believe I care what a adolescent thinks, but...." Enjoy!

Book of short stories that varied in my "like" of them, but honestly it is a quick and easy read and a couple of the stories I found very interesting! Great Summer read because you can pick it up, and put it down with ease! Recommended for any short story junkies out there.

This is a very good short book about the life of J.Gresham Machen. His history is amazing from his childhood to his later years after being unceremoniously kicked out of Princeton and for that matter, the Presbyterian church. Oh that we would have principled men to stand like J. Gresham once did, without the fear of favor of men! While I am not a huge fan of the layout of the book with the "guided tour" idea that Nichols uses, overall it is well worth it and an easy read that will teach you much of this church leader!

Interesting story about the Bowery Mission and its rich history. It is amazing the tireless work that volunteers and the staff are willing to do on behalf of those in need. I didn't know the story, but like many had head of the Bowery Mission, so i did enjoy reading and learning about it. Some of the characters really make this an interesting history, or perhaps more of a memoir. Anyway, a recommended read!

While it took me a little to get into this i really appreciated the book and the whole geo-political connection with it. The book is easy to read and Di Frances does a nice job with the characters. I love that the language in the book is incredibly clean! I will definitely look for the next two books!
