Good fiction work by Arvind Adiga themed on changing socio-economic fabric in our country. The style of narration mixed with first-person and third-person doesnt make you lose interest.
The author has beautifully researched and applied centuries old adages of Chanakya to modern day scenarios. Very much practical insights.
You are transported to another world after reading this book. This book is an official account of what gopikrishna of kashmir, had to go through when he accidently aroused his kundalini. MUST MUST read
A must-read to get a fresh, energetic perspective towards life and goals.

If you are dilly-dallying to make the jump, read this book. You will resign from your 9-5 job the next day!
Good book. Has mostly anecdotes from Cricketing, Sports and author's personal interactions with business leaders in India.
An inside story of how does our country's Intelligence agencies, especially IB works. The security apparatus of my country India is not as bad as i thought out to be. With remote listening posts in J&K borders (in 80's) and extensive alliances with pro-Indian factions in India's neighbouring countries, our Intelligence officers are well capable of defending India.
If you are following kriya yoga, then this book will aid you in getting a more clearer idea of "why".
Why and how do we make the decisions that we make ? What is the cost of “Free” ? Read how our mind uses subsconscious layer to make or reject an offer. Interesting read overall. http://www.flipkart.com/predictably-irrational-0007368542/p/itmczymamzc7yyhz
One of the best works by Robin Cook, i read it around in 1998, but the composition style and narration techniques are unique by Robin Cook. He makes you feel the scene, even the silence. The way he describes medical intricacies in his subject's makes you feel like a doctor

Reveals US attemps to expand its global empire by taking over resource-rich countries.PLAN:IMF/World-Book give “Aid”(Loans) to such countries so huge so that the receivers are unable to ever payback; now US starts arm-twisting the countries into mineral-rights/pro-US alignments on geo-political issues.”
A good insight on the general policing scenario in India. The author is a renowned police officer of India, shares many incidents, often with a tinge of humor. Makes a good read.
One of the best books, which cut the crap, and is to-the-point from Page-1. Shed the fat, and start lean, and just-do-it approach is the crux of this book.
Though the book starts on a period-tale, it proved to be engrossing soon-after. I finished the book in one sitting on a sunday morning in one go (morning 9 am-4pm).
The author Ashwin Sanghi seems to be a learnt man-those kinds who are glued to literature, GK, quizzes, and current-affairs more than an average person. The book imbibes his knowledge-base gathered during his childhood, coupled with the knowledge of intricacies of corporate world. The book is a culmination of putting all the thoughts in form of a story. Though, the style of writing is Indian-like, the author seems to be inspired by robin-cook style of dramatizing scenes of murders and bloodshots ("The arrow shot directly for Philipino skin, and not be stopped by it, it pierced further to heart, which caused wail of blood to shoot from his mouth").
Though, at many places, the selection of phrases and idioms are way too predictable, for an Indian audience.
The interleaving of chapters makes it read like two-books in one, though.
