Creative, fun romp with some of the cringiest dialogues I have ever read.

Delightful read with deep characters that Rooney wrangles around like a puppet show. The writing style is brilliant and evocative of authors like Saramago. There is a realism and a profoundness in the dialogues that ressonates with the reader. The ending is subpar.
