Thoroughly enjoyed this... reflected a lot of my opinions. Growing up in the 60's and 70's I was concerned about the issues covered in this book. I know people like this now!! Really easy to read as well.

The writing in these short stories is extremely effective and evocative. I found the stories mostly unsettling and often disliked the characters. I had trouble reading it as I did not want to 'know' the characters. I suppose my personal taste is a bit 'lighter' at the moment. I received this book free via Librarything giveaway.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book of short stories. The characters were all very real and in just a few pages had me totally engrossed in the story. My favourite was the Performer. The writing is easy to read and creates a picture in my mind with just a few words. Excellent. I was introduced to this book via member giveaway and am really pleased to find a new author I like. I will be looking for more work by Daniel Kelley
