"The Reclaimed Kingdom" was a very enjoyable listen for me- although not without flaw. The writing in this book was very well done. The plot of this book- specifically the second half of the book- was very interesting. I really enjoyed the magic system and how it was utilized throughout the book. The character's, on the other hand, I did not enjoy as much. I felt that they were a bit one dimentional and I personally do not enjoy love triangles but if you do enjoy love triangles, I think this would be a fantastic choice for you. I think I would consider picking up the second book in this series just to see how eevrything ends.

I unfortunately did not realize that this was book 2 in a series when I requested it, but after reading a plot summary of the first book, I truely enjoyed the story. I found this to be a wonderful middle grade story. It was a very quick and enjoyable read with incredibly likable characters. This book is perfect for fans of Harry Potter and I highhly reccomend it!
