Janet Evanovich is the best at two things...one is keeping the Stephanie plum series fresh and new with each book and making me laugh out loud with her writing. This book was no exception. Between grandma being in danger for her short marriage to a monster to chasing fugitives to her mother's "iced tea" consumption I laughed til tears rolled down my cheek multiple times. Lulu and Stephanie with the big vs let ttle nipples had me rolling out loud. Read it for that scene alone. Another well down laugh filled book with a twist that will carry on to the next release (that's no spoiler and the book finishes up too like normal). Recommend always reading any Evanovich book

I really enjoyed this book. It had the right level of emotion. It was suspenseful and kept me guessing til the near end. It was well written and once started I had a hard time putting it down. The characters were likable yet unlikable too. Sometimes I forgot who was innocent and who was guilty and who to root for. The author did an excellent job of that. It was an easy read to wrap yourself in and it reads quickly once you start. It’s definitely a recommend.
This was a really good book and I read it in two days. It takes place in one place in two different timelines with present-day Carly is looking for the aunt that disappeared in the 80s. We get sent back to the early 80s and find out what did happen to Viv. It has suspense and mystery with well-written dialogue. The author did a great character development and I genuinely liked the leading ladies of this story a whole lot. This book teases hauntings and ghosts and I would have liked to see a little more spooky factor. Although she did do an incredible job bringing it all to live and it played like a movie in my head as I read it. I still would have liked more scare factor. Overall it was an excellent read and recommend it
I love this book. I went into it without any real expectations and I was kind of blown away by the emotional roller coaster this story took me on. It made me laugh out loud at times. I also cried at times and I really felt for the characters. I fell in love with the character. The author brings them to life. I don’t want to talk about specifics of the book because I went into it with no real knowledge other than the synopsis and it moved me. I don’t want to diminish someone’s reaction with my review. Just read it and I think you will love it
