Liam Noone owns a hotel empire. One thing he enjoys is staying at his cottage in the Santa Barbara, CA area. One night, he falls from a cliff on the property and dies. Was it accidental? Was he pushed? Two of his children are not satisfied with the police investigation's conclusion. They must dig into their father's past, delving back to his high school days to unravel this mystery. In so doing, they discover family "secrets" that change their perspective on everything.
In a span of 3-4 months, I had a hard time connecting with this book and the characters. Due to vision issues, I had a hard time reading this until I obtained a copy of a large-print book. I tried audio but would fall asleep, having to start over multiple times. For this reason, I found it hard to engage in the story.
