hunger games book review

The book the hunger games was action packed and had very well done story line. Also the fact that katniss’ family is poor and hunts for food add is well done. I like the twist where two people can win the hunger games if they are in the same district. Suzanne Collins did an excellent job of portraying the characters. It also had a very good ending with katniss and her family. I would highly recommend the hunger games.

book review

The book skeleton key was longer book from the alex rider series and was a page turner. The fact that alex is always sneaking around a corner in russian base gives it a good effect. Also there is a twist in the end with the russian terrorist and alex. He is once again trying to save the world but from a nuclear bomb the russians made. At the beginning he is more like every other 14 year old boy playing basketball. I thought this was an excellent book in the alex rider series.

the lost world book review

I was unimpressed with the lost world by Michael Crichton it lacked many things. I was on page 130 and they were not even on the island yet. The whole time they kept talking about it and doing absolutely nothing. They also only talked about dr malcoms kid at school for like 30 pages. I would not recommend this book to anyone i found it very boring with little to no action.

Between all the action explosions and gunfire sunrise over Fallujah by Walter Dean Myers was a great book. A young boy Robin Perry had joined the army and was sent to Fallujah. Like his uncle Richie in Vietnam. This book is kind of a sequel to fallen angels. This is also an action drama kind of book.
Robin is always writing to his uncle Richie saying how alike they are. This also a heartfelt story of what he went through. I think it really gets the story of what happened in Iraq then. Also you can make some connections in the book. This New York Times best seller is probably one of my favorite books.
