In the middle of the story, the humans find out that they can live in Mars and settle there, and that is what they did. In the end, earth eventually turns out to die and most humans evacuated and went to Mars. (192/192)

Josh later on finds out that he is stalking teenage girls through the internet and Josh also finds out that he murdered a girl. Her father hires her to be his assistant as his father is also in the forensics field. The first case that they have to solve is about the murder of her friend, Rachel, and it gets dangerous as the person that killed her is a serial killer. (105/274)
The novel, Kite Runner, encompasses the search for redemption or vengeance. In the beginning, Amir, the protagonist struggles with being held with guilt as his friend, Hassan got raped. Throughout the middle he is forced out of Afghanistan and went to America. In the end he goes back and sees the man that raped Hasan and encounters him. (261/324)
