This book is was an unexpected great read for me. I really enjoyed this book and once you got into the book, you couldn't put it down. Also, it included some twists and turns in the end which were a pleasant and unexpected surprise.

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is a classic children's book. It is a great teaching book for younger children since it goes through the whole alphabet A-Z in upper and lower case letters. The book is about letters trying to climb up into a tree and the chant questions "will their be enough room?". This is such s fun book for children and is a good beginning book for young readers. The illustrations in the book are also very colorful and would be able to hold the child's attention. This is one of my favorite books!!!!
This is such a great book and can be used in any young child's classroom or at home. It teaches children about self-regulation and coping. The illustrations in this book are vibrant and stand out. Another great thing about this book is that the language used is very catchy and the author Molly Bang uses metaphors to make the story come to live. I had never read this book before this, but it is definitely a great one that is great for teaching children.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar was one of my absolute favorite books growing up. The illustrations Eric Carle brings to this and many of his other books makes it interesting for people of all ages, especially children. The book is about a hungry caterpillar who eats and eats and eats his way into a cocoon and after a few weeks returns as a beautiful butterfly. This story line is very simplistic, but the illustrations are what make this book come alive. This book can also teach children the life cycle of a caterpillar into a butterfly.
No one knows what the castle is going to do next except for princess Celie who is creating an atlas of the castle. Princess Celie’s parents and older brother are attacked one day on the way home from her brother’s graduation and it is up to Celie, her brother Rolf, and her sister Lilah to protect their home and save their kingdom. Celie is the youngest of the children and is eleven years old. She is loved by everyone at the castle; even Castle Glower is fond of Princess Celie. Celie is a brave character in the story and stays strong through the events that happen even while being unsure if her parents are still alive or not. She is definitely a leader among her siblings and residents at Castle Glower.
The Cat in the Hat has to be one of Dr. Seuss's most well known books. The story is about a cat in a hat who shows up and tried to show two bored kids how to have fun on a rainy day. What the kids don't realize is that their feline friends is a trouble maker and ends up destroying their whole house while their mother is away. This book is fun for children because of the rhyming and encourages them to participate in the book. Also, I think younger children would find this book absolutely hilarious and it would definitely hold the attention of a classroom full of children. The book's strong suit is definitely how well it is written. In the same, the illustrations capture the crazy imagination of Dr. Seuss which would appeal to children.
Where the Wild Things Are is a children's classic! It is a whimsical and enchanting adventure that Max and his new friends go on. Max gets sent to his room with out dinner and then his imagination starts to run wild. He becomes king of the wild things and goes on an adventure with his new friends. While not all illustrations have words to go along with it, the pictures are very descriptive and are probably one of the best elements about this book. The monsters in this book are iconic and recognizable to anyone who has read this book. While reading Where the Wild Things Are you feel as though you are right there with Max and his new friends dancing through the forest as the story goes on.
