Allow to start by saying that I have very high standards for audiobooks and have often stopped listening if the narrator did not meet my expectations to switch to hard copy text. This audio recording of Stitching Snow was impressive. The narrator, Mia Baron, maintained inflections for different characters through out and demonstrated skill in male voice variety. I would definitely listen to her in the future.
Regarding the story line, I was also satisfied. I had previously read Cinder by Marissa Meyer, which focuses on a cyborg Cinderella who does some stitching of her own. However, I found that this novel offered more detailed and creative technology and I bonded to the characters more. The story of Snow White is a classic, but I think a stubborn, unlady-like princess is my cup of tea. Perfect read for teens who enjoy fantasy. Hyperion has found a great adaption of the Disney Classic.

This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.I loved the idea of the book as I selected it from the early reviewer list and I admit that as I read the writing style was enjoyable. It had some variety with the main character's point of view and the husband's journal. However, I found the main character to be a little too perfect to be believable (yes, I know it is a fiction). I loved that the side characters had flaws that I did not expect and that a cat is used as a detector of the supernatural. It is a quick read and would be enjoyable for the correct reader.
