I read the book "Looks" by Madeleine George. Its about a girl named Meghan Ball. Kids at school say things about her right in front of her. Some of the things are about her size and she sometimes feels like she does not exist. This book is also about another girl named Aimee Zorn. Aimee is a very thin girl. Meghan and Aimee become friends because they find out they have something in common. This is a book I would recommend to others.
"Breaking Dawn" by Stephenie Meyer was a great book. A girl named Bella Swan is in love with Edward Cullen who is a vampire. I have read all four of the books in the Twilight series and this book is my favorite because it is full of action. Bella and Edward get married and take a trip to Isle Esme. One day Bella thought she had food poisoning and it turned out she was pregnant. When her child was born she was playing around with names and came up with the name Renesmee which i think is a beautiful name for a child. This book has 754 pages and was worth my time reading. I recommend others read it too.
"The Witches of Worm" by Zilpha Keatley Snyder was a very interesting book. A girl named Jessica lived with her mom in an apartment. Jessica finds a kitten and decides to keep it. While the kitten grows up, Jessica realizes thats it is not an ordinary cat. Along the way, the cat gets her into some trouble. This is a book i would definitely recommend to others. I enjoyed reading this very much.
Dave Pelzer is an author that writes about his personal life. The book “The Lost Boy” is a book about a boy who just wants a family. He just wants to fit in and be loved. Dave’s book made me want to read more and more. The detail he puts in makes yo, and some could bring tears to your eyes because of all the strong detail. As you read, you would think about how lucky most kids are, and how so many others aren’t. A young boy switches from foster home to foster home, makes friends and looses them. He desperately tries to find a way to fit in. This book should touch the heart of others. It has definitely made a difference in my awareness of the horrors around us
