A great follow up to She who Became the Sun. Continued an amazing story with such complex and great characters. This book let you guessing in a way the first didn’t and the last few chapters I truly had no idea how it was going to end.
One of the few books I allow myself to rate 5*. A beautiful true feeling of friendship is felt in this book, both its ups and downs. I was gripped throughout reading. A love for games makes the book even better but I don’t think necessary for the enjoyment.
Beautifully profound. Often led to me wondering what would occur in my own midnight library
A great book. Slow burner to begin with but once in about 100 pages you are invested. Very interesting commentary on Japan and great twist toward the end. Would recommend.
What a beautiful final book of the series. I was sad to finish off the wayfarer books. This final book was a lovely story of five strangers making the most of being stuck together and all coming out the better after. 100% recommend the series, my favourite sci-fi series ever
A funny little book. I enjoyed seeing how the added book helped the characters turn their life around along with the “bonus” gift that comes with them. I enjoyed how the characters all loosely tied to each other by the end too.
A beautiful, eye opening book just touching the surface of Vietnamese history. Tear jerking recollections of horrible moments of Vietnamese history, loved every moment of reading
