A must read for anybody who cares about free speech and antisemitism in the US today. It explores antisemitism in the US from the post World War II to today and how the courts have dealt with free speech issues.

Fans of Joyce Carol Oates may enjoy this, but I just couldn't finish it.

A beautifully written Western with engaging historical perspectives. Slow moving at times, but the last part will reward the reader.

An interesting book for pop music fans. I found myself struggling to remember some of the song and would have liked to be able to listen to them.

Excellent overview of the switch to electric cars and the reasons that electric vehicles are here to stay. The author has a deep background in the auto industry and access to the key players in the industry.

Creative Industries of Detroit is a wonderful book for any car buff. It highlights the contribution of a little known (at least to me) concept car builder to the Detroit automotive industry. The book covers Creative Industries form its beginnings in the 1940s through its heydays in the 50s and 60s and into the 70s and 80s. The book has tons of photos – cars, advertising, building and people. If you love classic American cars, you’ll love this book!

When this book arrived, my husband immediately opened it and didn't put it down for an hour! This is a great gift for car and racing enthusiasts. The pictures are chronologically ordered, with captions and short descriptions. Its a great history of Shelby and of the era.

“Lost Muscle Cars” is a fun read for car enthusiasts and mystery buffs both. The book covers prototypes, rare models, race cars and celebrity-owned cars. It describes what makes them special ad how they were found. Also, still missing cars are mentioned – if you want to find a lost muscle car!

The Seven, the Lives and Legacies of the Founding Fathers of the Irish Republic (Ruth Dudley Edwards) is an excellent biography of the leaders of the 1916 Easter Rebellion. Both casual readers and students of Irish history will discover new things in this book. It’s a well-researched, detailed history of the factors that led to the Easter Rebellion, the Rebellion itself and the aftermath. Some of the Seven (Patrick Pearse, James Connolly) are known by casual readers of Irish history, while others (Thomas J. Clarke, Eamonn Ceannt) are not as well known. For anyone interested in Irish history, this is a must-read book.

Golf Steps to Success is a methodical approach to the game of golf. It would be useful to both a beginning golfer and a more advanced golfer. The book starts putting, then chipping, pitching and finally the full swing. Then it discussed difficult lies, rough and bunker play. A variety of drills are suggested for each shot. The book finished with a discussion of course strategy and management. Golf Steps to Success, as its title suggests, is a detailed, progressive approach to golf instruction.

Very detailed and highly technical description of how the ships were built. There's enough drawings and illustrations that you could build your own boat if you wanted.
