The book tells the history of the characters in L. Frank Baum's classic tale "The Wizard of Oz".
The book is mainly focused on the wicked witch of the west Elphaba. From Gregory's writing I came to love and understand Elphie. She is very outspoken and has a great mind. Especially when its about politics. She speaks her mind when she knows she's right and is not afraid to be dubbed as "unladylike"
Wicked talks about the politics a of Oz. From the ghettos to the upper class.
I now even dislike Galinda; who turned out to be very selfish, spoiled and snobbish.

The book is ok, but its such a long read and also slow paced. I didn't finish it because it was just not my type.

A perfect 5! I cried in the first-two chapters when Edward decided to leave Bella because he thinks he is a danger to her. He sacrificed his love just to save Bella from peril because of his very existence, because Edward is a vampire who has fallen- in-love with a mortal. " I'm not good for you. I will let you be and never return. It will be like I never existed". When Edward said this words to Bella my eyes instantly got misty!! :(

Unfortunately Bella's happiness was again short-lived when her life was again in mortal danger in the hands of another blood thirsty vampire named Victoria, mate of a vampire that Edward killed to save his beloved Bella.
I read this book with so much anticipation and so much interest that I never put the book down "LITERALLY" I stayed in bed almost the whole day!! Even the charms of J.K. Rowling in Harry Potter can't top that feeling. I only stopped reading just to eat my breakfast/lunch/dinner!! crazy huh?? This book is really a fun and fantastic read!

This book is absolutely amazing. It opens peoples eyes on what possibly goes on some circuses. The animals and the people that work there.
Aside from life in the circus, the book talks about the joys and pain of being in-love especially if the person you love is already spoken for (ouch!) and the person she is married to is a total arse!

this novel is really great! hands down! it talks about the lives of the Afghan women. How they are/were treated and discriminated. It surely does open your eyes of the sufferings of being a woman in certain places where women are considered as objects that are meant to follow all the commands of their husbands whether they like it or not...
It also shows the inhumanity of war where the innocents especially the children are being killed just to make a point cross to the opposing party.

This is by far the scariest, creepiest, hair-rising book I have ever read. It is said to be the real story of the infamous Vlad the Impaler commonly known as DRACULA.
This story is a rich combination about the history of Europe and surprisingly, Istanbul that is said to be linked to the very existence of DRACULA.
This novel will make you loose sleep for a very long period of time. So guys, be ready with your night-lights because you are in for a gruesome ride.
I definitely recommend this book to those of you guys that have an acquired taste for horror and adventure.

At first I was skeptical about this book. I thought that it was childish and not interesting.. So I did a little research. I browsed through multiply and read the reviews. Because of the positive feed back I decided to be adventurous and decided to buy the book.
When I read the first chapter I got so hooked that I didn't notice the time!!!! I was already 1:30 in the morning! The last time I had read a book this long was during the Harry Potter days (which I miss) but this book filled my thirst for adventure. I got so hooked on it that after a few hours of sleep I decided to buy the sequel to the book ASAP even if i haven't even finished Twilight yet!!
