Beautiful descriptive passages and many interesting ideas. The overall plot is fairly simple and if you were to describe it in terms of plot points relatively little happens over the course of the book. Characterization is also surprisingly limited with little character development. I really wanted to love it, but the best thing I can say is that the setting and descriptions were lovely.
