I liked this book because it shows that children can have crazy and unlimited imagination. my dad had fireworks booths and they came in cardboard boxes, and we could get those boxes and play with them. They would be spaceships, cars, houses, tunnels, etc.
I like this book because it is relatable. I cannot go to the grocery store if I am hungry because I will get too many things and things that are unhealthy and such.
I didn't really like this book because I get how it can be funny, but I feel like its doing the opposite of what its meant to be about, it could be seen by children as eating fruits and veggies is bad and weird
This book is very interesting because it can be interpreted in many different ways. It can be seen as a mother and son relationship, where a mother gives all of herself to her son because that is what her life was made for. It can be seen in a relationship between a man and a woman, where the man uses her for all of her things and her love. This can also represent a relationship of a user, someone who uses people and has no remorse because they keep going back for more.
This book was fun because it had the recipe to the "stone soup" in the back of the book. We actually made the soup and ate it for lunch.

this book does an excellent job of exploring what a child might be interested in and accepting it without judgement. It in no way says anything about sexuality to the reader, but does show that some boys may be interested in things considered more feminine such as mermaids.
