This was a bit of a disappointment. Brown's writing is competent but not great and the story too contrived, more of a puzzle than a mystery. Most of the time I was a step ahead of the characters, hollering at them to open their eyes.
A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail (Official Guides to the Appalachian Trail) by Bill Bryson
This book kept me awake at night laughing. It's a trip, a road trip, and the road is the Appalachian Trail. It needs to be a movie, with Jeff Foxworthy as Bryson and Larry the Cable Guy as his sidekick, Katz.
