I'm not going to get all philosophic here, but this Bible rocks. There are cool quizzes you can take (I am a huge fan of quizzes), and handy little "In focus" and "Genuine" notes sprinkled throughout. I had a non-Christian friend over once and she was shocked to find out that the cool pink/brown book on my shelf was the Bible. I would recommend this to any new Christians, because other Bibles can be very intimidating, but this one isn't. There are even reading plans to show you where to start. I love this Bible.
