Illuminating expose of an inveterate con-man. Got into the ministry to get the pretty girls? Amazing.
Wow. Greatly organized. Cogent. A great read. Excellent history primer. A must for any library. His use of "capsules" is elegant too.

Will become one of the "must have" books for any student of history.
Eye opening and sobering. A part of Civil War history that is neglected - the story of the defeat of the Union AFTER the war. Budiansky writes well and has gone to great lengths to bundle a compelling narrative together from original sources that tells us how the freed slaves were enslaved for another 100 years by their former masters. A great book.
Another Seth Godin gem. He is as smart as he is willing to share and teach. He has "been there and done that" and actually enjoys spreading his gospel of permission marketing and web-based consumer doctrines. Not an "MBA type read". It's simply a read that works if you put into practice his proofs and prescriptions.
A look at the uniform patches used by various secret projects of the (mainly) U.S. Airforce.

Quick read. But absolutely unique information and a patch-focused presenation. A nice little book for military buffs.

His "magnum opus"?

The foundation of all of his other weirdly title books about marketing.

And a very, very valuable business book.

Numbers? Ratings? Hits?

No - according to Seth Godin one metric that really matters is the number of people that are opting into your marketing and client communication systems.

Very good book.
THE definitive book on Soviet/Russian atomic arms.

Detailed. Great inside facts. Well written.

Highly recommended.
Hmmm.

The entire modern history of the CIA is shown to be a bitter brew of failure and hubris.

Hard to believe.

Yet Tim Weiner spins a believable and detailed story.

Whoever is the next President should read this and then issue an Executive Order to shut the whole slime pit down that same day.

Start over and hire some talented and proven people to run the next one.

A great read.
Wow. Read this and then you will agree that the CIA needs to be shut down and reconstituted with an entire new staff. 9/11 was the just one of these clowns mistakes. Amazing.
Great read. All names changed to protect the identities of the former Muslims who are now born again Christians. Eye opening and challenging.
Fascinating.

Detailed coverage of the lives of one Holmes County Ohio Amish family. Highly rec. if you are interested in the modern day practices and beliefs of the descendents of the Anabaptists.
Great factual information about the man behind the legend.

Blumerson had the cooperation of the Patton family (with some unseen before family photos). Inspite of that the skeletons in General Patton's closet are not spared.
Stalin was, it seems, as demented and sick in the mind as Mao was.

Must be something that happens to long serving dictators.

His gory and depraved family life and personal habits are fully covered.

The most dangerous place in Russia was to be close to Joe Stalin.

A great examination of our old "ally" from the WW2.
Outstanding WW2 combat narrative.

Hard to find book, but a classic and a great read.

Highly reccomended.
Actually a misnomer.

They are songs of CALVINSIM.

Calvism being an extra-biblical, man-made theology of works and legalism and lordship that actually has nothing to do with grace.

These are "songs of Calvin" and should not be used in Biblical and Spiritual worship.

Ignore the good things that Peter Ruckman says about preservation and inspiration . . . and you have to deal with his strang beliefs about ALIENS.

And UFOS.

And, i suppose someday, Sea Monkeys.

Ruckman writes that he has all truth. And no one else has uncovered it.

Secret bases under the Denver Airport? Yup.

UFO's full of aliens? Sure.

Different races of UFO driving space aliens? Of course.

And . . . if you don't believe in them just like he does, YOU are not a born again believer.

Obviously the elevator no longer goes all of the way up in the Ruckman house.

A shame inducing book that ought to cause any thinking Pastor to fully and forever disassociate themselves from Ruckam immediately.

Oh, I don't even want to dignify the raciast components of this screed - let's just say that Ruckman has some feelings for people of other races.

Disgusting book. Damning ALL "Ruckmanites".
Hyles is in Hell now so the truth has fully come out.

He was a pederast. An adulterer. And a home-wrecker.

Oh yes, a "fundamental baptist preacher" too.

Really?

Glover, one of his deacons, watches Hyles seduce women, cover up fornication, and support child molesting church workers.

All while Hyles claims to be the leader of American fundamentalism.

Hyles really is a testimony to church dictatorships and the fall of America.

Damning book of a damned man.
A masterpiece.

Shows the humanistic origins of "Calvinism". Establishes clearly the self-contained contradictions of this pernacious doctrine.

A methodical, accurate, and damning book.

Most Calvinists would be terrified if they read it- especially if they opened their eyes to the longest running scam in Evangelical circles- i.e. that Calvinism has something to do with "grace".

God did not create beings just to damn them. He didn't damn them in eternity past. And He didn't send His Son to damn them.

Vance's book is the best book on the market today to illuminate this wicked doctrinal system.
Make certain that pastors do not read this book.

It shows that the pastor/elder has to be called not hired.

BTW he has to be a "he", and other Bible imperatives are developed.

Undoubtedly unpopular and ignored, it is still a good book on the "job" of pastor/elder.
His greatest work?

Foundational opus on the filling of the Holy Spirit that makes sense and follows Scripture.
Good man who never thought of himself - and the chilling details of the attacks on him by J. Frank Norris make one question Norris' salvation.

This bio is well organized, includes photos, and has other source material.

A great primer on the origins of the now defunct GARBC in its Bible believing heyday.
Extremely useful compendium of Bible topics and background.

Solid in theology. Balanced in composition.

One of the best Bible helps extant.
Shallow and callow look at man from man's own view point.

He can sell a lot of books but cannot understand the Book.

A modern American tragedy that will have eternal consequences for millions of misled souls.
Slim in size, mighty in power.

A great read about the utter wasteland of modern American Evangelicalism.

Where are the new prophets? They have been replaced by profits.
Great read. A sad and tragic and very touching look at the destruction of Zimbabwe by the tyrant Mugabe.

25% of the people have left. 25% perhaps are dead. One of the wealthiest nations in Africa reduced to penury wiht help from North Korea, China, and assorted neighbors and NGO's interested in a fast buck.

Read it and weep.
