Some of my opinion this book is sad, and interesting. The main characters name is Karana a creative and brave girl. One of the parts that stand out to me is she goes off and lives by herself. This is based on a true story; it is about a girl and her brother that have to learn how to survive. I thought this book was good and full of adventures. I liked this book and think you should read it.

My opinion of this book is that it is an interesting, suspenseful, and sad book. One of the events that I liked is when Billy Coleman through Determination goes into town bare foot all the way to the train station just to get his puppies, I also like when he gets in a fight with the school kids that think they are the coolest, I liked when he trained his red bone hounds to be coon hunters. Overall this is one of the best book I have ever read

In my opinion this book starts out really boring, then it gets more and more intersting, in the middle of the book you dont want to put it down. Some of the events that i like is when brian takes a canoe for hundreds of miles in the river, before that he got all his stuff together and as so as he got off the plane he was gone, i also like when brian and a bear have a stand off Brian says go away softly he doesnt leave Brian says go away now.

In my opinion this is a really good book. It is very hard to not go to the next chapter; it is very interesting, and it keeps you on your feet. One of the events that popped out at me is when Jonny killed the soc while Pony Boy was getting drowned. Another interesting part is when Darry and Pony get in to a fight and Pony ran away. I like how i can relate to the characters in this book.

In my opinion Hatchet is a very good book. It is very interesting, hard to put down, keeping you wanting to know what happens next. Some of the events that I liked in this book are when a skunk came into Brian's shelter and scared him while he was sleeping, when the storm came, and when the bears came and ate some of his food. In this book Brian talks a lot about his parents getting a divorce and how a effects him. I can understand how he feels.

In my opinion Brian's Winter is a great book. It is a very interesting, easy to read and kept my interest. One of my favorite parts is when Brian went back to the plane while it was under water to get the emergency pack. In it was a gun, some cooking supplies, compass, hunting knife, sleeping bag and a first aid kit. These supplies made it easier for him to surive in the winter. This book is interesting because what if I were stranded in the woods by myself I would make sure I had shelter, food, water and warmth.
